14. Incredibles 2
- The short at the beginning, ‘Bao’, was dumb and weird to me but tried to save face with the revolution at the end
- But what do I know because this short won an Oscar
- The movie picked up right where ‘The Incredibles’ left off 14 years ago with a dope action scene
- Why does Violet (Sarah Vowell) look like she has serious bags under her eyes in this one?
- Jack-Jack vs. the raccoon was a great and funny scene that hilariously showed the baby’s powers in action
- I just noticed that Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) is basically like a female Spider-Man
- I should have guessed who Screenslaver was based on how we were introduced to the people at DevTech
- The ending was fun and action-packed but I feel like the foiling of the oppositions plan was too easy
- I mean, it took some time but getting everyone out from under Screenslavers spell with the glasses was too easy
- The animation was dope as usual and really aligned up perfectly with its predecessor
- As did the voices. You could barely tell more than a decade has past
- More action than the first one which is a plus
- That’s another reason why this probably took so long because animation is already a long process but action animation, I assume, takes super long
- Didn’t suffer from the long layoff or by just being a sequel
- Might have been better just because of the humor brought by Jack-Jack and his powers
- To Sum it Up: Wouldn’t mind seeing another one but the chances of that happening is very slim
