‘I See Movie’ of the Week: ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ vs. ‘Straight Outta Compton’

Update: Voting is Closed!

Last week’s ‘I See Movie’ of the Week match-up saw it’s first four-way movie battle with ‘Fantastic Four’ getting named the winner in the eyes of the readers as well as myself. Ugh…..if you’ve been paying any attention to the movie news that’s been out there recently, you already know how much of a failure ‘Fantastic Four’ has been box office wise and review wise. so I’m not even going to touch on it right here. Plus, I’m too depressed to anyways.

Now on to the week 14 match-up. This week, we get back to the basics with a one movie vs. another movie showdown. ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’, Guy Ritchie‘s first movie in four years, will go up against ‘Straight Outta Compton’, a biopic of one of the most controversial music groups of all-time. Will those who were fans of the old TV show and those who enjoy watching mediocre looking action movies vote for ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’  or will those who want to see the (dangerous looking) lives of the N.W.A. members playout on screen vote for ‘Straight Outta Compton’. Will those who want to hear Armie Hammer do a horrible sounding accent vote for ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ or will those who want to see someone who doesn’t look anything like a young Dr. Dre portray Dr. Dre (*cough cough… Corey Hawkins) vote for ‘Straight Outta Compton’. Please vote below with your choice and comment on why you chose the one you did. My choice and the readers choice will be revealed Friday, August 14th. The winner (more specifically, the readers pick) will (eventually) get a review from yours truly.
