‘I See Movie’ of the Week Winner: ‘Max’ vs. ‘Ted 2’

In the seventh match-up for the ‘I See Movie’ of the Week poll, we saw ‘Max’ take on a (hopefully) hilarious sequel, in ‘Ted 2’. The results are in! So which movie did you all choose as the go-to viewing for the week? Find out which one is the winner below, as well as my personal pick.

‘I See Movie’ Pick: ‘Ted 2’

This was a super easy one. I loved ‘Ted’ so I’ve been anticipating this sequel, I’m a big fan of Seth MacFarlane so I always can’t wait for his next body of work to come out and…it just looks hilarious. It’s just as simple as that.

Readers Pick: ‘Max’  (87% of the votes)

You’ve got to be kidding me. Thanks to everyone who voted, I appreciate it and all but really? ‘Max’? I wasn’t even really planning on seeing this movie but I guess I have to now. Wow, is my boy MacFarlane losing fans like that?Welp, I guess I’ll be adding a ‘Max’ review to the list of all the movies I said I’ll write reviews for. Don’t worry, they’re coming in the (near or not so near) future.

For next week, we get to see a male stripper movie (that I will see), in ‘Magic Mike XXL’ go up against a reboot/sequel of a popular franchise, in ‘Terminator: Genisys’.

  1. I was going to see Max but with the reviews I am not sure. I love a good dog movie. Ted 2 is too R rated for me. Most comedies are these days. Sigh…

    1. lol you might actually like it though. And I love that R rated type of humor and I loved Ted 2. It’s just the childish part of me lol. But yeah most comedies are going for that type of humor. Spy was rated R but its humor was more universal than just gross, explicit jokes

      1. Maybe. I might see it today if I’m feeling good. I miss family comedies where you could all laugh together. Outside of animation I almost never see comedies. Just too raunchy with so much foul language. I get the appeal. I just wish we had a little more of the other to balance it out.

      2. Yeah I feel that. It would be cool if there was more of a mixture cuz its a nice change of pace. Maybe that’s why The Lego Movie was so good.

      3. That’s a good point. I do think the humor the whole family could enjoy was a big part of the Lego’s success.
