UPDATE: VOTING CLOSED!
Last week’s ‘I See Movie’ of the Week match-up saw ‘Tomorrowland’ the winner in the eyes of the readers while I chose ‘The Poltergeist’ as my pick. The rest of the country seemed to agree with the readers because ‘Tomorrowland’ is expected to top the box office with about $40.7 million over the four day holiday weekend. ‘Tomorrowland’ was also the better movie of the two so I guess I was wrong and everyone else was right.
Now on to the week three match-up. This week, we get to see a “romantic dramady” go up against a disaster flick. So which movie will be laughing or destroying everything in its path on its way to victory: ‘Aloha’ or ‘San Andreas’? Will the majority of people want to go see a movie with Emma Stone in it or will they want to see Dwayne Johnson save his family during the most over-the-top looking earthquake known to man?
